RateRadar is a savings assistant that works via chat. This page explains in plain words what data we process, why, and what your rights are under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
The data controller is [RATERADAR]. For any privacy request you can write to [info@rateradar.pro].
When you use the bot we process: your Telegram chat identifier, profile name and language (to reply correctly); the Amazon links you send us and the prices we detect; the data extracted from the bills you send — provider, monthly cost, service type, country. Bill photos and PDFs are not stored: they are analysed automatically to extract this data and then discarded. We never ask for your full name, address, tax code or bank details.
To provide the service you request: monitoring prices, comparing plans and sending you savings alerts in chat (performance of a contract, art. 6.1.b GDPR). We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to anyone.
Premium subscriptions are handled by Stripe. Your card details never touch our servers: they are processed directly by Stripe under its own policy. We only store your subscription status and the technical identifiers needed to manage it.
To work, RateRadar relies on providers that process data on our behalf: Telegram (messaging), OpenAI (automatic bill reading), Perplexity (plan search), Rainforest API (Amazon price detection), Stripe (payments) and Aruba (hosting in Italy). Some of these providers are based outside the EU: transfers take place under the safeguards provided by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses).
Tracking data stays active until you delete it ("list" command in chat) or until you ask for your profile to be erased. You can request full deletion at any time by writing to [info@rateradar.pro].
You have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, object, and receive it in a portable format (arts. 15–22 GDPR). To exercise them, write to [info@rateradar.pro]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
